Citing 'miscommunication', lawyer urges Jamal to surrender

The lawyer for Umno Sungai Besar chief Jamal Yunos (above) has urged his client to surrender himself to the police and assist in the completion of an ongoing bail proceeding.In a statement, Jamal's lawyer Mohd Imran Thamrin said that Jamal's disappearance from his hospital ward yesterday was unintentional and could be due to unfamiliarity with out of court bail proceedings."I believe that maybe there was some 'miscommunication' and our client had assumed that the bail proceedings were completed.
